Stricter Chassis Regulations forTruck Crane Exports Accelerate Industry Standardization
2026.04.08
Recently, regulatory authorities have strengthened supervision over the export market of truck-mounted cranes due to inconsistent chassis quality. Some products have been using second-hand or remanufactured chassis, posing potential safety risks and compliance issues, which have negatively affected the reputation of China’s special vehicle exports.
According to industry sources, starting from January 1, 2026, stricter regulations will be implemented: only chassis that comply with official national listings and certification requirements will be permitted for export procedures. Chassis not included in the official catalog or with unclear origins will be restricted from export.
Industry experts believe that this policy will significantly improve the overall quality of exported products and promote the industry toward standardization and compliance. At the same time, it will accelerate the integration of high-quality manufacturers with certified chassis resources, further enhancing the competitiveness and brand reputation of Chinese truck-mounted cranes in the global market.
